Husband David GRADY
Born
Baptised There are baptisms in the east County Cork area of a David Grady in May 1825 and in Dec 1829 but he would only have been 16 or less at his Feb 1842 marriage so they can be rejected. The only other baptisms 1800-1824 are:
David Grady, Date of Baptism: 11-Dec-1804, Parish: Cloyne, Father: John Grady, Mother: Catherine Lee, Sponsors: John Keefe and Mary Lee (he does have a father of John Grady which matches with the sponsor at child Elizabeth's baptism)(siblings are: Ellen b. 1806, Robert b. 1808, Mary b. 1810, John b. 1813);
David Gready, Date of Baptism: 14-Dec-1808, Parish: Rathcormac, Father: John Gready, Mother: Ellen Terry, Sponsors: Patrick Crowley and Mary Leary (a sister Ellen was born in 1804)
Died
MarriedFebruary 6, 1842Imogeela RC Parish (see record). The church record doesn't record the parents' names. David's address is Springfield (which is immediately to the West of Youghal township). The witnesses are John Ahern and John Kenny.

Notes

At the baptism of son Thomas, a sponsor is William Graddy. Is that David's father, grandfather?
At the baptism of daughter Elizabeth, a sponsor is John Grady. Is he David's brother or father?

Of possible interest are other Grady marriages in the same time-frame as David's wedding, also in Imogeela Parish:
1837: Patrick Grady and Johanna Lawton (see record).
1841: Patrick Grady and Ellen Falvey (see record).
1843: Michael Colebert (of Castlemartyr) and Honora Grady.

Griffith's Valuation 1851 lists a David Grady at "51 Mouse Street or Beau Street". It also lists a John Grady at "Newtown", and Margaret Grady at 13 Raheen Lane.

Notes John Ahern was a witness at Mary and David's wedding. Is he Mary's brother or father?

Ellen, John and Honora Ahern were sponsors at the children's baptisms. What relation to Mary Ahern?
There is one baptism in 1819 of a Mary Ahern with mother Honora and father John in Lisgoold, County Cork (22 miles West of Youghal). The sponsors at that baptism were William and Mary Ahern who would presumably be that Mary's paternal grandparents.

At the wedding of their grandson (Elizabeth's son, James Donoghue) in 1891, one of the witnesses is Mary Grady. That's possibly this Mary.

There are a number of Aherns (all Catholics) listed in the 1766 Census for the Parish of Youghal
John Ahern, David Ahern, Andrew Ahern, John Ahern, James Ahern.
