Surgeon R.N. & R.A.M.C. WWII. "Brain of Britain" 1959. Also the 1959 winner of the Brain of Brains (competed for every three years by previous winners of the annual Brain of Britain quiz). At least during the 1950s and 1960s Reginald and his wife lived in Todmorden (now in West Yorkshire). Reginald ran as as a prospective Member of Parliament for the Conservative Party in the 1960s. The Webster's family home in the 1960's was at 1 Harley Villas Victoria Road Todmorden Lancashire. Picture taken in the early 1960's at the 'Sobriety Hall' Rose Street, Todmorden, which was the name of the club run by the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain. Dr Webster is sitting at the main table with his daughter on his left (spotted top) and wife partly hidden to his right.
