Eileen Theresa Kelso, 86, of Amarillo died Monday, May 11, 2015.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church Chapel with Corky Holland officiating. Private burial be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Eileen was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Bronx, N.Y., to George and Gertrude Greenslade. She was always a caring person and willing to help anybody.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rosemary Owen; a great-granddaughter, Kylee Adlong; a stepson, David Kelso; three brothers; and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Kelso of Amarillo; three sons, Ken Adlong, of Odessa and Bruce Adlong and wife Susan and Floyd Adlong and wife Lisa, all of Amarillo; a sister-in-law, Gwen Rennels and husband Earnest; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Obituary: John R. Adlong, 83, died Saturday, June 4, 2011, at his home in Odessa. Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Acres West Funeral Chapel. Mr. Adlong was born Sept. 5, 1927, in Wooster, to Herman and Rosie Adlong. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a retired contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Rosie Adlong; a daughter, Rosemary Adlong Owen; his wife, Helen Gregory Adlong; and siblings, Herman Adlong and Mary Adlong. Survivors include sons, Floyd Adlong and wife Lisa and Bruce Adlong and wife Susan, all of Amarillo, and Ken Adlong of Odessa; stepsons, Mark Gregory and wife Stephanie of Canyon and Gary Gregory and wife Cathy of Amarillo; siblings, Bill Adlong of Denver, Donald Adlong and wife Paula of Conway, Ark., and Mrs. E.H. Ward of Hobbs N.M.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one on the way.
