NotesJim Doyle, who visited with Mary E. Burke and Veronica in 1969, said that William worked for the railroad. Bill had been in the Army and was given a military send off at his funeral he was awarded a silver star in the Battle of the Bulge. William had several daughters by two marriages, Patricia Burke-Baez among them. NotesJohn Burke lives in North Bellmore, NY. He married Joan and they had a son Kevin John Burke (who works in State Farm headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois. Has a wife Athena and two children Christopher and Molina). John was in the Navy just after WWII. Came out of the Service after the Korean War in 1953. Jim Doyle said that John worked in airconditioning.
