Other than Ann's sister Mary, what trace of a Mary Morrish can we find in the 1840s and 1850s who could have married William in 1856?
1841 Census: Living in Credition, William Morrish, 40; Mary Morrish, 45; Emma Morrish, 10; Jane Morrish, 5; George Morrish, 2.
1851 Census: Living in Sandford, John Morrish, 59, agricultural labourer, born Sandford; Mary Morrish, 51, charwoman, born Crediton Fitzpaine [a good possibility as they don't appear in the 1861 Census as a couple, and there is a John Morrish who died in the Crediton Registration District in 1851 and another in 1855].
1851 Census: Living in Crediton, Charles Morrish, 58; Mary Morrish, 56; Sarah Horn, 30, daughter; John Morrish, 21, son; Robert Morrish, 15, son. [Note this is not the correct Mary Morrish as she and Charles are still married at the 1861 Census]
