1 Elizabeth GREENSLADE
GenderFemale
Born1848Cheriton Fitzpaine, Devon (England birth index record: Eliza Greenslade, Date of Registration: Oct-Dec 1848, Mother's Surname: Bamsey, Registration district: Crediton, Devon, v.10, p.70)
BaptisedDecember 24, 1848Cheriton Fitzpaine, St. Mary (see record)
Died1851-1870 (1856 or 1858)(probable death record, one of: Elizabeth Greenslade, Date of Registration: Oct-Dec 1856, Registration district: Crediton, Devon, v.5b, p.241; Elizabeth Greenslade, Date of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep 1858, Registration district: Crediton, Devon, v.5b, p.244)
Notes Elizabeth is not listed with the family in the 1861 Census. She would have been around 12 by then so she probably died before the date of the Census. In the 1861 Census there is an Eliza Greenslade, 13, who is a house servant with the Francis family in Cheriton Fitzpaine. This may be this Elizabeth, and if so, she died between 1861-1870, but as there are only the two deaths listed above in the Crediton Registration District (which included Cheriton Fitzpaine) for 1850-1870 that 1861 Census record is probably for a different Elizabeth.
